Therapy is highly individualized and can be multifaceted in its scope. Some people come to improve their mental health, others want a space where they can deepen their understanding of themselves or be able to process their emotions in a safe way. Therapy is a collaborative and evolving process where you can expect active engagement and the ability to tailor to your needs.

Sex Therapy

Sex therapy is a form of talk therapy for those who want to explore their sexuality and desires, cultivate more pleasure, and deepen their intimacy.

About Sex Therapy

Sex therapy is a way to address specific challenges related to sex, sexuality and intimate connections. It may include the use of different therapeutic modalities depending on the issue. Some people want to focus exclusively on issues related sex, others may want a therapeutic space in which it's welcome and open to discuss their relationship to sex amongst other important things in their lives. Regardless of intent, we always start with a container built on safety, consent and clear boundaries to help facilitate insight and change. 

Sex therapy is not a touch based modality. When appropriate, referrals may be made to sex educators, physical therapists, and touch professionals including somatic touch practitioners and surrogate partners.

Gender-Affirming Therapy

Gender affirming therapy provides a space for those to safely explore their gender identity and expression in an affirming and supportive environment.

About Gender-Affirming Therapy

At its core, gender-affirming therapy acknowledges that gender is just one part of the intersectional make-up of our identity and therefore is never the central or only lens through which we see the world.

 

Gender therapy acknowledges a full range of gender identity and expression, including those who identify as transgender, non-binary, genderqueer, gender fluid, or those questioning their gender.

 

Therapy can help explore parts of gender identity and gender expression in an informed space where you can show up as your full self. No matter where you are in your relationship to your gender, you deserve a place to be seen and understood. 

Trauma Therapy

Trauma therapy can help people who have experienced trauma regain a sense of control and agency in their lives. 

About Trauma Therapy

Those who have been through trauma often experience significant changes in their sense of self, relationships and or place in the world. Trauma therapy is a focused type of therapy to help integrate traumatic experiences and build an increased sense of safety and trust. Using somatic focus and evidence-based practices, trauma therapy can help remove blocks to help cultivate more ease and freedom in your life.

Cost

Cost of Sessions

Therapy rates are $175 per 50 minute session.
A limited amount of sliding scale spots are available for those in need of financial assistance. I accept payment with FSA and HSA plans.

Coaching

Coaching differs from therapy in that it is often more focused, directional, educational and time limited.

About Coaching

Individuals ​who are seeking structured, educational, and skill-building support to enhance wellbeing in their lives may benefit from coaching. It is particularly beneficial for: 

  • Improving self confidence 

  • Making big life decisions

  • Finding purpose and direction  

  • Increasing motivation to make impactful behavioral changes 

  • Enhancing and broadening understanding of sex including sex for queer and trans folks, opening up relationships, and alternative sexual practices

While coaching can enhance mental well-being, coaching does not specifically address mental health conditions such as trauma, anxiety, or depression. If these issues are present, it is often recommended to work with a licensed mental health professional.
